The Eden Project

Before the escalators in the early days of the Eden Project we designed and installed a queue walkway canopy to accommodate visitors waiting for the tractor train.

Locally sourced from the Duchy, just a few miles away, and extracted from a neglected Christmas-tree plantation, the Norway spruce timber was all stripped, turned, treated and prepared on site by our expert team of roundwood workers and riggers. Combined with galvanised steel interface bracketry and rigging, and with the proofed cotton membranes, the structure was shortlisted for the prestigious Wood Awards
